AT&T was unveiled on Monday [5] as the presenting sponsor of the Tribeca Film festival, replacing American Express who will remain involved in a sponsorship capacity. The festival’s 13th edition will run from Apr 16-27 2014.

AT&T will present a range of public programmes including a day of free screenings.

The company will also sponsor the Tribeca Drive-In series, develop a new app, expand the festival’s hackathon event and play a role in enhancing the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards.

AT&T’s relationship with Tribeca began in 2011 as the lead sponsor of the Tribeca Film Institute’s Youth Screening Series and annual benefit and continued as a signature sponsorship of the 2013 Festival. 

American Express, Tribeca’s presenting sponsor since the festival’s inception, will return as a signature sponsor for 2014.
