Berlin-based sales agent Films Boutique has taken on international distribution for writer-director Jeanne Labrune’s Special Treatment (Sans Queue Ni Tete) which will have its world premiere as a Special Presentation at this month’s Toronto International Film Festival.
The French-Luxembourg-Belgian comedy-drama, starring Isabelle Huppert, Bouli Lanners, and the film’s co-screenwriter Richard Debuisne, focuses on a high-class prostitute (Huppert) and a pre-eminent psychoanalyst (Debuisne) who are both unhappy with their professions and discover that they have many things in common.
In addition, Films Boutique will be represented in San Sebastian later in the month with Paz Fabrega’s Rotterdam Tiger Award-winner Agua Fria in the Horizontes sidebar.
