Germany's Bavaria Media, the Czech Republic's Space Film, Norway's BV International Pictures and the UK's Indyuk Films are among over 20 European arthouse sales agents which have already registered for the first 'Sales & Distribution Market' to be held by the Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival from November 12-14.

A sales and distribution catalogue with the sales companies' new titles has been sent to all European arthouse distributors who will then be invited to indicate which agents they want to meet in 30-minute 'sales meetings' over the three days.

The 130 films on offer include the Filmfest Hamburg opener Solino by Fatih Akin, the Polish animated film Eden by Andrzej Czeczot, Jim Doyle's Reinventing Eddie, Flora Gomes' musical comedy Nha Fala (My Voice), and Sven Taddicken's Getting My Brother Laid (Mein Bruder Der Vampir).

In addition, the festival will also be planning to organise 'partner meetings' between theatrical distributors interested in exploring the possibilities of collaborating on acquisition and promotion.
