Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton will star in the rom-com and Mark Damon and Tamara Birkemoe will introduce to buyers at the AFM.

PJ Hogan will direct from a screenplay by Mark Andrus about an eccentric estate agent who falls for his neighbor while reacquainting himself with the granddaughter he never knew.

Production is scheduled to commence in late spring 2013 and Alan Greisman, Rob Reiner and Mark Damon will produce. Birkemoe and Grant Cramer will serve as executive producers.

“There’s a large demographic and need for these kind of films as evidenced by box office successes such as The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, It’s Complicated and Bucket List,” said Greisman.“ Diane and Michael are Hollywood legends who will shine in this hilarious and heartfelt story.”

“Diane Keaton and Michael Douglas are a perfect pairing as eccentrics who refuse the idea of love until they are hopelessly, inextricably mired in it,” Damon said. “How they react to late in life love is hilarious, but moving, entertaining, yet tearfully touching – I must say, I absolutely love this script.”

Foresight’s sales slate includes Peter Berg’s Lone Survivor which just went into production and stars Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster, Eric Bana and Emile Hirsch and 2 Guns starring Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, which is currently in post-production. Universal will distribute both in the US in 2013 and the projects are produced by Emmett/Furla while Envision serves as executive producer.
