Former Canal Plus executive Bibiane Godfroid has joined Air Productions, one of France's most successful television production houses.

Godfroid, who had been with Canal since 1996, was executive managing director of the Canal Plus Group at the time of her departure earlier this year. She left Canal amid the restructuring that came following the ouster of Pierre Lescure.

At Air Productions, Godfroid has been named vice-president and will oversee the diversification of programs, national and international market analysis, and development of scripts, concepts and talent.

Godfroid is an old hand in television having worked for RTL, Canal J and France 2 before joining Canal. In her new role she also re-teams with former Canal Plus presenter and producer Nagui.

Nagui created Air Productions in 1993 and has built the company into one of France's most prolific. Apart from producing television, Nagui also dabbles as a radio presenter, television personality, and film actor and producer.
