Former Cinemavault Releasing executive Paco Alvarez has launched a new world sales outfit, Forward Motion Entertainment, and will unveil two new projects, Six Reasons Why and The Cold Flame, at Berlin's European Film Market.

Picked up for North America by ThinkFilm, Six Reasons Why is the debut feature of The Campagna Brothers and is described as a Sergio Leone-style spaghetti western. Colm Feore is one of the featured players. Alvarez told Screendaily that the film will be the next El Mariachi.

Directed by Leon Yang Shupeng, The Cold Flame is a Chinese-language WWII melodrama about a teenage orphan girl who falls in love with a wounded solider under her care. According to producer Cindy Mi Lin of Infotainment China, 'the film offers a fresh perspective unusual in mainland Chinese films.'

Toronto-based Alvarez is the third executive from Cinemavault introducing a new company at the 2008 event. Steve Arroyave is launching a new world sales outfit, Arrow Entertainment, while Abhi Rastogi is launching Cinesavvy.

Alvarez anticipates handling four titles a year across all genres.
