Producers’ representative Circus Road Films has acquired worldwide rights from August 8 to Banksy’s Coming To Dinner starring Joan Collins.

The comedy stars Collins as the host of a soiree thrown for the mythical graffiti artist whose politically inflected work has fetched millions.

Percy Gibson, Tara Newley and comedian Stephen K Amos also star and Ivan Massow, the former chair of London’s Institute Of Contemporary Art, will direct.

Circus Road principals Zac Reeder and Glen Reynolds have bulked up their team for AFM, hiring Sebastian Twardosz from Allumination FilmWorks to identify and secure rights to film projects. Tara Schemansky Reynolds has been named director of business affairs.
