Wong Kar Wai's Ashes Of Time Redux is proving to be a hot seller at Cannes with Fortissimo Films closing deals with Germany's Splendid, Brazil's Imagem Filmes and Svensk Filmindustri for Scandinavia, among other territories.

Poland's Monolith, Turkey's D Productions and Romania's Media Rights have also snapped up Wong's reworking of his 1994 martial arts classic, which Sony Pictures Classics acquired at the start of the market.

Fortissimo has also closed several deals on Bill Guttentag's reality TV satire LIVE!, which recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film was gone to Nonstop Entertainment for Scandinvia, D Productions for Turkey and Hong Kong's First Film.

D Productions also acquired John Woo-produced Blood Brothers and Un Certain Regard title Pleasure Factory.

Fortissimo has also concluded a raft of pre-sales at Cannes - on Stephan Elliott's Black Oasis, which went to Brazil's Imagem and Portugal's Lusomundo, and Disgrace, starring John Malkovich, which went to Svensk for Scandinavia and Poland's Gutek.
