Jennifer Aniston and Ben Stiller opened strong in Along Came Polly this week with nearly half a million tickets sold - narrowly beating out French romance Une Vie A T'Attendre which did nearly as well on slightly fewer screens. The Thierry Klifa directed film boasts a stellar cast with Nathalie Baye and Patrick Bruel as long lost lovers.

Those two new entries knocked last week's top film Malabar Princess off of its top spot although the film continues to perform well, lifting its share by 10% while Tim Burton's Big Fish also swam up 3%.

In all, the week was a very healthy one down in large part to the spring cinema promotion which ran from March 14-16 and during which ticket prices are dramatically reduced.

Other new entries included Ashton Kutcher starrer The Butterfly Effect at number 7 and Manuel Poirier's Chemins De Traverse in the 18th spot.
