Reactivated Frenchdistributor Bac Films has announced the creation of a video label, Bac Video.The new structure will release DVDs of Bac's films as well as those fromproducers Gedeon and Millimages. Bac is 51% owned by Millimages.

Jerry Bellamy will head upthe department and has signed a distribution agreement with Paramount HomeEntertainment International. The move is indicative of Bac's renaissancefollowing a period of rough years. The company also launched an internationalsales division in 2004.

Films included in the nextmonths are the award winning Kings And Queen from Arnaud Desplechin and the next films from JimJarmusch, Terry Gilliam and Pierre Jolivet.

New editions of Bac's highprofile library titles are also planned including Pulp Fiction, Wild AtHeart and Barton Fink. For 2006, boxsets of Wim Wenders' and Jim Jarmusch's works are being prepared.
