APC, the French Producers’ Guild, has now started an American & International Desk to advise foreign producers who seek a French company to work with on the new French Tax Rebate For International Production (TRIP).

The new arm will team American and international producers with internationally experienced producers in France and shepherd them through the tax and production process.

Eric Altmayer, APC’s President said: “We are very enthusiastic about this new Tax Rebate and the A&I Desk is ready to welcome and support a number of exciting American and international productions shooting in France. APC’s members are experienced and qualified motion picture French producers, they will be key partners for those looking to benefit from the tax rebate.”

Board members for the American & International desk are Eric Altmayer of Mandarin Cinéma; George Bermann of Partizan Films; Michèle de Broca of Fildebroc; Antoine de Clermont Tonnerre of Mact Production; Philippe Godeau and Camille Gentet of Pan Européenne; Jacques Perrin and Nicolas Mauvernay of Galatée Films; Marc du Pontavice and Didier Lupfer of One World Films; and Fabienne Vonier and Stéphane Parthenay of Pyramide. The first American member is Catalaine Knell of Franglais Films.

The Desk will be fully operationnal by August 24.
