Imagine Entertainment has picked up Australian and New Zealandrights to Georgia Lee’s RedDoors from ForwardEntertainment.

As previously announced, Polychrome will release the picture inMay in the US. The story follows a dysfunctional Chinese-American family withthree overachieving daughters. Tzi Ma, Jacqueline Kim, Elaine Kao, KathyShao-Lin Lee, Freda Foh Shen, and Rossif Sutherland star.

Blanc de Chine Entertainment, which Lee formed with Jane Chen andMia Riverton, produced. The film had its world premiere at Tribeca 2005 whereit won best feature in the NY, NY competition.

Forward Entertainment principals Michael Thornton and Sheri Levinenegotiated the deal with Imagine Entertainment’s managing director John Vale at the European Film Market inBerlin.

Forward was launched in May 2005 as a distribution, sales andmarketing company handling film and television.
