Alex Gibney's Gonzo: The Life And Work Of Dr Hunter S Thompson has been selected as the closing night film of this year's San Francisco International Film Festival on May 8.The film, which will be released by Magnolia Pictures in North America in July, focuses on Thompson's life from 1965 to 1975, and is produced by Gibney and Graydon Carter.Gibney won the Oscar this year for best feature documentary for
