Golden Globes

The nominees for the 75th Golden Globe Awards were announced today (Dec 11) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The Shape Of Water is the film to beat after earning seven nominations, including best drama, best director (for Guillermo del Toro) and best actress (Sally Hawkins).

Steven Spielberg’s journalism drama The Post is close behind with six, including nods for stars Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.

Also on six nominations is Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

TV-wise, Big Little Lies lead the way, also with six nominations, including five acting nods (Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Alexander Skarsgard, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley).

The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live coast-to-coast on NBC on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 5-8pm PT from the Beverly Hilton Hotel with host Seth Meyers.
