Former DreamWorks production executive Grey Rembert has joinedInitial Entertainment Group as vice president of development.

Rembert will work alongside senior vice president of creativeaffairs Jennifer Wachtell and will report directly to company head Graham King.

Rembert joined DreeamWorks at its inception 12 years ago and mostrecently headed up the literary department at the studio. She acquired JamesBradley's novel Flags Of Our Fathers, which has been directed by Clint Eastwood and will open inOctober, and Mark Levy's If Only It Were True, which was released as Just LikeHeaven starring ReeseWitherspoon and Mark Ruffalo.

Prior to Dreamworks, Rembert served as assistant head of theliterary department at Amblin Entertainment.

King's development slate includes adaptations of the upcomingbooks Prince Of Thievesand Benighted throughInitial's first-look deal with Warner Bros. Prince Of Thieves will be directed by Adrian Lyne andAndrew Adamson is eyeing a director role on Benighted.

Initial'scredits include Traffic, Gangs Of New York, The Aviator, and this autumn's upcoming thrillers TheDeparted starringLeonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson, and Blood Diamond, which also stars DiCaprio.
