Griffin Dunne has joined the cast of Paul Auster's upcoming directorial effort The Inner Life Of Martin Frost while renownedcomposer Philip Glass has also signed on to score.

The film, produced by Paolo Branco, Auster and Peter Newman, is being handled by Branco's Gemini Films for international sales.

Rounding out the cast on the Euros 3.5m project are Sopranos starMichael Imperioli and French actress Irene Jacob. Frostbegins shooting in October in the US.

The fictional character of Martin Frost hails from Auster'snovel The Book Of Illusions andis a well-known American writer who holes up in a borrowed house after thepublication of his latest novel. Upon waking in the house on his first day, heis shocked to find a strange woman in bed with him - and she's just assurprised to find him. He quickly falls for the intelligent beauty though shebecomes more and more unattainable.
