H20 Motion Pictures has closed multiple territories on the dark comedy
Poor Things and the psychological drama Opium.

Poor Things has sold to South America (IDC), Portugal (Castello
Lopes), Israel (Forum Films), Poland (Monolith), the Middle East
(Front Row), Romania and Bulgaria (New Films), and Hungary and the
Czech Republic (Revolutionary Films).

Ashley Baron Cohen is directing and the project stars Shirley
MacLaine, Olympia Dukakis, Lindsay Lohan, Rosario Dawson and Channing
Tatum.

Right deals to Janos Szasz' Opium closed in South America (Quality
Films), Scandinavia (Smile Entertainment), Portugal (Prisvideo),
Benelux (Indies Entertainment), Greece (Hellas Cinema), and Iceland
(Myndform).

At time of going to press sales chief Mark Horowitz was in active
negotiations with buyers in the UK, Australia, Scandinavia, and
Greece, among others. Ulrich Thomsen and Kirsti Stubo star.

'There seems to be an abundance of money and films in the marketplace,
which makes buying decisions a bit tougher,' Horowitz said. 'But as
usual, the best stories seemed to sell in all genres.'
