here! Films has acquired North American rights to the occult thriller Cthulhu and worldwide rights to gay-themed Israeli romantic comedy Antarctica. Sister company Regent Releasing will release both titles in the US later this year.

Cthulhu is adapted from HP Lovecraft's novella The Shadow Over Innsmouth and re-imagines the story with a young gay man in the lead as the leader of a sinister New Age cult leader. Dan Gildark directed from Grant Cogswell's screenplay. Jason Cottle, Scott Patrick Green, Cara Buono and Tori Spelling star.

Antarctica takes place in Tel Aviv as a 29-year-old man recovers his mojo after he meets a handsome journalist. Yair Hochner directed and Eitan Reuven produced. Rivka Neuman, Guy Zo-Aretz, Lucy Dubinchik and Liat Akta star.
