Casey Affleck will receive the Hollywood Breakthrough Actor of the Year Award, and Christopher Hampton the Hollywood Screenwriter Of The Year Award at the upcoming Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Oct 22.

Brad Bird's Ratatouille will receive the Hollywood Animation Of The Year Award and Transformers and effects supervisor Scott Farrar will collect the Hollywood Visual Effects Of The Year Award.

Affleck stars in his brother Ben's upcoming directorial debut and crime drama Gone Baby Gone, which Miramax will release in North America in October. He has also appeared in Ocean's Thirteen, Good Will Hunting, To Die For, Hamlet, and The Last Kiss.

Hampton worked on Atonement, which opened the Venice Film Festival. He won the best adapted screenplay Oscar for Dangerous Liaisons in 1989, and also wrote The Quiet American, Carrington and Mary Reilly.

Ratatouille has grossed more than $391m worldwide and is expected to cross $500m by the end of its run, while Transformers has amassed more than $685m.

Farrar's credits include Minority Report, The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, and Deep Impact.
