Toronto-based Breakthrough Entertainment arrives in Santa Monica with market premiere screenings for The Resurrection Of Tony Gitone, Summerhood and Please Kill Mr Know It All.
The Resurrection Of Tony Gitone screens on Thursday (Nov 1) and stars Fabrizio Filippo, Paula Rivera, Nick Mancuso, Tony Nappo and John Cassini in the story of an Italian-American who gets his big break in a Hollywood production.
Summerhood screens on Friday and is a coming-of-age tale about four friends on the cusp of puberty. The key cast features Joe Flaherty, Jesse Camacho, Raquel Alessi, Christopher McDonald and Lucien Maisel.
Please Kill Mr Know is set to screen on Sunday and stars Lara Jean Chorostecki as a novellist whose anonymous advice column becomes an overnight success when she receives a celebrity endorsement.
Breakthrough’s slate includes Jason Priestley’s directorial debut on the caper Cas & Dylan starring Richard Dreyfuss, as well the dramas Think Of Me, Neutral Territory and Unlucky.
