Forget casual Friday. It’s all about National Film Friday, says MediCinema and Empire Big Screen.
On Friday August 5, employees across the UK are being encouraged to come to work as their favourite cinema icon in aid of charity MediCinema, which helps hospital patients feel better through the medium of film.
As an extra incentive (as if embarrassing yourself in front of colleagues wasn’t enough), the company with the best outfits will win ten tickets to the premiere of Cowboys & Aliens starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, which is opening Empire’s new BIG SCREEN event at London’s O2 Arena.
The three day, Comic Con-esque event (July 12-14) will feature a a special effects arena and a chance to take part in Star Wars: Padawan Training School.
Of course at Screen, every day is National Film Day and we like to celebrate that fact accordingly. Our most common theme is The Hangover.
