A romantic volcano? Who would have thunk it? Why those sharp minds at Pixar, of course.

The eruptive character takes centre stage in the upcoming short film, Lava.

We see a jolly (or is he a bit wistful?) fiery mountain in a remote tropical archipelago warbling away in a manner that evokes Over The Rainbow by the late Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole.

Will sparks fly? Will our protagonist be able to contain himself? Or will it all fizzle out into nothing?
