FilmNation has released the first image from Alejandro Amenábar’s upcoming Spanish-Canadian thriller, Regression, which has wrapped principal photography in Toronto.
Ethan Hawke and Emma Watson star in the story about a detective investigating a father who confesses to a crime he has no memory of committing.
David Thewlis, David Dencik, Dale Dickey, Lothaire Bluteau and Devon Bostick round out the principal cast.
MOD Entertainment, MOD Producciones, Himenóptero, First Generation Films and Telefónica Studios are producing Regression in association with FilmNation Entertainment, with the participation of Telefilm Canada and in collaboration with Mediaset España.
TWC-Dimension has scheduled an August 28, 2015, US release. FilmNation handles international sales excluding Spain and Canada. Telecino Cinema holds Spanish rights and Elevation Pictures will distribute in Canada.
