Fledgling UK sales outfit adds to its Cannes slate.

UK sales outfit Kaleidoscope Film Distribution (KFD) has added Donal Macintyre’s football hooligan documentary Hooligans and Yoav Factor’s comedy-drama Reuniting The Rubins (starring Timothy Spall, Rhona Mitra and Honor Blackman) to its sales slate ahead of Cannes.

KFD will update on titles previously announced at Berlin, including thriller Elfie Hopkins, starring Jaime and Ray Winstone and action-comedy Strippers And Werewolves.

Caroline Stern, Director of International Sales commented: “Six months in, we have accomplished what we set out to do in establishing a line-up of commercially and creatively exciting feature films. In the process Lord of the Dance 3D sparked the expansion of an alternative content banner, under which follows The Prodigy’s concert film, World’s on Fire [KFD will sell TV rights to the concert documentary] and Donal MacIntyre’s Hooligans. This should prove an exciting first Cannes for Kaleidoscope”.
