Hong Kong’s Emperor Motion Pictures (EMP) has appointed Ivy Ho as general manager of marketing, responsible for all marketing activities relating to the company’s production and acquisition activities.

Ho previously worked at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, where she served as deputy director of the Asian Film Awards and the Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF).

“We are very pleased to welcome Ivy into the EMP family. Her diverse experience in the industry is exactly what we need as EMP cranks up its ambitious new slate for the coming year. It promises to be an exciting time ahead for us,” said EMP CEO Albert Lee.

Ho has over 15 years of experience in the industry, including film and TV production, distribution, editorial work, project management and development. In addition to spearheading the launch of the Asian Film Awards and HAF, she was also instrumental in the global development and rebranding of Hong Kong Filmart and Entertainment Expo during her tenure at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC).

“I am very excited to be jumping back into the thick of action at EMP. We have an exciting line-up in store and I am looking forward to the new challenges ahead,” said Ho.
