Audrey Chon is named vp of production, Meryl Emmerton becomes vp of physical production and Jeremy Needelman rises to vp of strategy, finance and accounting. Partners Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane made the announcement on Tuesday (24).

“Audrey, Meryl and Jeremy have each shown remarkable skill and innovation in their respective departments over the last year, and we are proud to recognise their contributions,” Kahane and Drake said.

Chon started her career at Imagine Entertainment in 2004 and went on to become director of development at Peter Chernin’s production company before moving to Mandate, where she worked with Drake and Kahane and oversaw such projects as The Last Drop and Day Of The Triffids. For Good Universe she is currently overseeing Spike Lee’s Oldboy remake.

Emmerton has worked in physical production for more than 15 years and started at Mandate in 2011 as director of physical production. She is working on Old Boy and Last Vegas, Good Universe’s joint project with CBS Films.

Needelman served as controller at Mandate Pictures since July 2009 and is helping the company transition from corporate to independent ownership. Prior to his post at Mandate, Needelman worked at Gold Circle Films as assistant controller.
