Bloom has introduced international buyers here to the upcoming Michael Apted thriller starring Michael Douglas, Orlando Bloom and Noomi Rapace.

Principal photography is scheduled to begin on November 3 on the story of a CIA interrogator who races to thwart a biological warfare attack on London after she unwittingly gives information to terrorists. Peter O’Brien wrote the screenplay.

Lorenzo DiBonaventura produces Unlocked alongside Georgina Townsley and Erik Howsam. Silver Reel will finance and produce alongside DiBonaventura. CAA represents US rights.

Last week Bloom, led by Ken Kao and Walton, boarded Shane Black’s detective thriller The Nice Guys starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, with Warner Bros will distribute in the US on June 17, 2016.

The slate includes Gus Van Sant’s The Sea Of Trees starring Matthew McConaughey and Naomi Watts, currently in production.

“I am delighted to introduce this fresh, smart European thriller to buyers in Toronto,” said Bloom’s Alex Walton.

“With three major studio movies in production, Noomi Rapace is becoming one of the hottest female international stars working today. When you add Michael Apted, Michael Douglas and Orlando Bloom you have a commercial package that I am confident will draw strong interest.”
