Screen and sister publication Broadcast have partnered with UK Trade & Investment to launch an online portal designed to help producers build and grow their businesses abroad.

UKTI

The portal has launched with an interview with UKTI Sector Advisory Group co-chair Tim Davie, trade and export guides to doing business in China and Canada and a host of case studies and video content.

MBI chief executive Conor Dignam said the portal was a valuable resource for companies keen to expand.

“It is increasingly important for producers to ensure that they are looking beyond the UK in order to grow their business,” he said.

“Through our partnership with UKTI we will help Broadcast and Screen users reach a raft of new, global clients.”

UKTI works with UK-based businesses to ensure their success in international markets through exports. It also encourages and supports overseas companies to look at the UK as the best place to set up or expand their business.

The portals on both ScreenDaily.com and broadcastnow.co.uk will also include information about events taking place in key international markets and festivals, including Mipcom, the AFM (American Film Market), Kidscreen and Berlin Film Festival where UK companies can sell internationally.
