Fox's disaster juggernaut, The Day After Tomorrow, continued its assault at the top of theHong Kong box office, taking US$1.3m from 59 screens in its second week for acumulative gross of more than US$4m.

But Korean melodrama Windstruckstill managed to open strongly grossing US$618,131 from 33 screens in its firstseven days. The film is directed by Kwak Jae-yong, whose comedy My Sassy Girl was a big hit in Hong Kongin 2002. Although a Korean-language film, Windstruckwas co-produced and co-financed by Hong Kong distributor Edko Films, whichpreviously handled Hong Kong distribution of My Sassy Girl.
