Anthony Hopkins and RyanGosling have signed to star in Castle Rock's crime drama Fracture that New Line is handling worldwide.

Gregory Hoblit will directthe story of an assistant District Attorney who takes justice into his ownhands after an assailant tries to murder his wife and leaves her in a coma.

New Line International willsell the picture outside of North America and production is expected to beginearly next year.

Castle Rock is producing andNew Line executives Toby Emmerich, Sam Brown and Michael Disco are overseeingfor the studio.

New Line International's AFM slate includes the psycho thriller Number 23 starring Jim Carrey, and the action title Shoot 'EmUp starring Clive Owen, MonicaBellucci and Paul Giamatti.

The slate continues with thepolice drama Pride And Glorystarring Edward Norton and Colin Farrell, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre:Origin, which is being produced byMichael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebsman and is currently shooting in theSouthern US.
