As the Berlin Film Festival draws to a close, the last week has seen a raft of new productions being announced and added to ScreenBase.

Jennifer Aniston has been confirmed to star in dramedy Miss You Already , which centres on two lifelong friends whose friendship is shredded when one falls pregnant and the other falls sick. The film is based on a script by Paul Andrew Williams and Morwenna Banks, with Williams also taking on directorial duties. The UK’s Salt Company and Embargo Films will jointly produce; the former additionally handles worldwide sales. Eone has acquired distribution rights for Canada, the UK and Australia. Benoît Poelvoorde will star in Fabienne Godet’s drama Une Place Sur La Terre (‘A Place On Earth’) about a happily disenchanted, forty-something photographer who crosses paths with an idealist student pianist. The film also co-stars Ariane Labed. Godet co-wrote the script alongside Claire Mercier and Franck Vassal and the film is produced by Le Bureau with Versus Production and France 2 Cinema co-producing. Canal + and Ciné+ provided financial backing. Principal photography will commence on March 5, taking place across Belgium, Egypt, Spain, and the South of France. Wild Bunch will bring the film to French cinemas and Celluloid Dreams is selling it internationally.
