The 39th annual New Directors/New Films collaboration between New York’s Film Society Of Lincoln Center and The Museum Of Modern Art will run from March 24-April 4.

The event, dedicated to the discovery of emerging filmmakers, will screen 38 films and opens with the world premiere of Richard Press’ documentary Bill Cunningham New York, about the New York Times photographer.

Xavier Dolan’s Canadian foreign language Oscar submission I Killed My Mother (J’ai Tue Ma Mere) will close the festivities.

The roster includes by Alexei Popogrebsky’s Russian drama How I Ended This Summer, (pictured) a triple winner at the recent Berlinale for acting and outstanding artistic contribution, as well as Warwick Thornton’s Australian foreign language submission Samson And Delilah.

Eleven short films will screen this year, and the focus of the New Directors/New Films Classics is French cinema.
