Hyde Park International has boarded Roland Emmerich's human trafficking project Welcome To America and the comedy Chaos Theory starring Ryan Reynolds,Stuart Townsend and Emily Mortimer.

Welcome To America is one of the first productions to emergefrom Reelmachine, which Emmerichformed in late 2004 with VIP Medienfonds' Andreas Schmid andis partly backed by the Bavarian Film & Television Fund. Kevin Kline starsopposite Alicja Bachleda inJose Rivera's adaptation of the New YorkTimes cover story about two girls who are kidnapped and forced to becomesex slaves.

Emmerich is producing and Hyde Park's Ashok Amritrajserves as executive producer with Lars Sylvest.Director Marco Kreuzpaintner makes hisEnglish-language debut.

The project is currently shooting and Lionsgatewill distribute in the US.

Chaos Theorycentres on two friends who fall for the same woman. Mayhem ensues after one ofthem marries the girl and seven years later realises his friend is the fatherof their child.

Marcos Siega directs from ascreenplay by Daniel Taplitz. Frederic Golchan and Erica Westheimer areproducing, and Michael Andreen, Mark Gill, Liz Glotzer and Martin Shafer serve as executive producers. WarnerIndependent Pictures is handling USdistribution on the project, which is also in production.

Hyde Park International's Berlinslate includes the heist thriller Flawlessstarring Michael Caine and DemiMoore, Polish Brothers' drama TheAstronaut Farmer starring Billy Bob Thornton, and the thriller Premonition starring Sandra Bullock,which just started filming in Louisiana.
