DistributorICA Films has taken UK theatrical and DVD rights to The Bridge,while Channel 4 has obtained the UK TV rights.

FortissimoFilms is handling sales for the Eric Steel's documentary, which will screen atthe London Film Festival.

Thefilm is about the people who jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge in 2004, while also examining what drives people tosuicide.

Fortissimo'ssenior VP of international sales Nicole Mackey brokered the deals with the ICA's Mark Adams and Channel 4'sJeff Ford.

"We are proud that Eric's film will be in thesafe hands of ICA and Channel 4 who will treat it with respect whilst reachingas many people as possible," Mackay said. "We salute Eric for opening up asubject often swept under the carpet."

Adams added: "We are delighted to be releasing The Bridge. It is both beautiful anddeeply moving and certainly a most remarkable film experience. Eric has made apowerful film, and one that deserves to find an audience."

ICA Films is the theatrical distribution arm of London's Institute Of Contemporary Arts. Its releases include SophieScholl, Favela Rising and the forthcoming This Film Is Not Yet Rated and Candy.
