Catherine Hardwicke and Ocean’s Thirteen writer Brian Koppelman will be among the participants at IFP’s Script To Screen conference in New York.

Presented in partnership with Writers Guild Of America, East, the March 20-21 event will address opportunities facing content creators and enable IFP Program alumni to pitch projects at established producers, executives and financiers.

Five film-makers will be selected via the strength of their crowd-sourced pitches to present their work publicly to the panel.

“As always, IFP’s signature programmes will continue to provide access and opportunity for aspiring and working media professionals to learn the art and business of independent film” IFP interim executive director Joana Vicente said.

“Through our expanded IFP and Filmmaker Websites, as well as through our conferences and programmes, we strive to be the place where film-makers and film lovers everywhere can learn about what’s next – and most importantly, join the conversation and have their voices heard in the community.”
