Image Entertainment has acquired all US rights to action-thriller The Devil’s In The Details starring Ray Liotta. Epic Pictures handles international sales here in Cannes.

Waymon Boone makes his feature directorial debut from his own screenplay about a psychiatrist who gets caught up in the Mexican drug war. Emilio Rivera, Lane Garrison and newcomer Joel Mathews also star.

The film has wrapped principal photography and Dark Details is producing alongside Boone, Cesar Villacis De Lucia and Justin Finney. Benjamin F Sacks and Bryan Sexton serve as executive producers.

Image chief acquisitions officer Bill Bromiley and Mark Ward negotiated the deal with Doran Chandler on behalf of Dark Details.
