Indican Pictures has acquired U.S. distribution rights to the UK comic drama Two Men Went To War.

The film is an Ira Trattner Production for Little Wing Films directed by John Henderson and co-written by Richard Everett and Christopher Villiers.

The deal was struck after the film screened at the recent Hollywood Film Festival.

Two Men Went to War is based on a true story, following Sgt. Peter King (Kenneth Cranham) of the Army Dental Corps, deemed too old to fight, and Private Leslie Cuthbertson (Leo Bill), a trainee dental mechanic in the Corps, deemed too slow, who are thrown together by their passionate desire to see active service. Armed with just two revolvers and a dozen grenades, King persuades Cuthbertson to join him on a mission to occupied France.

Randolph Kret and Shaun Hill negotiated on behalf of Indican; Producer Ira Trattner represented the film.

Founded in 1998, Los Angeles-based Indican Pictures previous releases include Boondock Saints, Girl Next Door, and Tuvalu.
