Jim Seibel and BillJohnson's Inferno Distribution has closed a deal with Castle Rock Entertainmentand Warner Independent Pictures (WiP) to finance Chaos Theory, a comedy starring Ryan Reynolds which will bedirected by Marcos Siega (Pretty Persuasion, Underclassman).

Reynolds plays a young manabout to run out on his wedding day, until he is stopped by the father of thebride, who tells him an outrageous true story that might change the young man'slife.

WiP is handling domesticdistribution on the film, with Inferno handling international sales. Productionis scheduled to start in early 2006.

Dan Taplitz wrote the scriptfor the film, which will be produced by Johnson and Frederic Golchan, withSeibel executive producing.

Martin Shafer and LizGlotzer will supervise the production for Castle Rock, with Mark Gill andMichael Andreen supervising for WiP.

Reynolds is also star ofInferno's Just Friends whichrecently completed production. New Line will distribute the film in NorthAmerica in Nov 2005.

Inferno is currently inproduction on Richard Kelly's Southland Tales which stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Seann WilliamScott and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson; Victor Salva's Peaceful Warrior starring Nick Nolte and Scott Mechlowicz has wrapped.
