Robert Cary's romantic comedy Ira & Abby won the 13th US Comedy Arts Festival's (USCAF) best feature and Yuksel Aksu's Turkish comedy Ice Cream, I Scream was named best foreign feature.

Other winners at USCAF, which ran in Apsen, Colorado, from Feb 28-Mar 4, were Tom DeCillo for best director for Delirious, Taika Waititi for best screenplay for Eagle Vs Shark, Jay Baruchel for best actor for I'm Reed Fish, and Ira & Abby's Jennifer Westfeldt for best actress.

Wendy McLendon-Covey took the best comedy performance in film prize for Closing Escrow and Cook-Off!

Seth Gordon's Slamdance hit King of Kong won best documentary, while Etan Cohen's My Wife Is Retarded was named best short.

Micha Hulshof won the best performance in a foreign film for Schnitzel Paradise, and Frank Oz' Death At A Funeral took the Cinemax Audience Award prize.

The 2007 film programme comprised 30 features, 20 shorts and four world premieres. The foreign language jury members were producer Kelly Devine, Michael Schlessinger from Sony Pictures, and Screen International's Jeremy Kay.
