Italian distributor Eagle Pictures has added a host of commercialtitles to its upcoming slate, including several new horror movies.

The Rome and Milan-based company's slate includes: horror flick FinalDestination 3, which is directed by James Wong and takes place six yearsafter the events in the previous instalment; Jan de Bont's Meg, anadaptation of Steve Alten's bestseller about the hunt for an eighty foot longMegalodon shark; and Liz Friedlander's musical drama Take The Lead withAntonio Banderas.

Eagle will also distribute Korean historical fantasy film ShadowlessSword, the comedy Because I Said So, Rob Zombie's The Devil'sRejects, Tomm Coker and David Elliot's horror thriller Catacombs,Billy O'Brien's Isolation and Eduardo Sanchez (Blair Witch Project)'sAltered.

Eagle has also acquired Italian distribution rights to JeffWadlow's thriller Cry Wolf, and Simon Brand's Unknown with JimCaviezel.

Founded in 1986 by Ciro and Stefano Dammicco, Eagle Picturesoperates in the theatrical, television and video/DVD market. Last year, thecompany released The Passion of Christ, which grossed almost Euros 20min Italy.
