Brett C Leonard's prison two-hander Jailbait won the best feature prize at the 2004Lake Placid Film Festival, while Gretchen Berland and Mike Majoros' Rolling won the best documentary award for itsexploration of wheelchair-bound people's fight for dignity.

A special jury prize went to Brant Sersen's paintball mockumentaryBlackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story.

Novelist William Kennedy and producers Ben Barenholtz and CatherineWyler served as jurors.

Chisholm '72 - Unbought and Unbossed, directed by Shola Lynch, won the theaudience award for documentary, while Tennyson Bardwell's Dorian Blues shared the audience award for featurewith Bradley Battersby's Jesus The Driver.

The Robin PellAward for Best Short Film went to Shock And Awe by Chase Palmer and the following shortswon audience awards: Craig MacNeill's Late Bloomer, Pes' animated short Roof Sex and Hugo Perez' documentary The OldMan.
