The executive will head up the team responsible for digital creative and digital brand strategy, overseeing their work across the domestic slate. 

In the coming months Zim will directly manage the Men In Black and James Bond franchises, as well as 21 Jump Street and the Total Recall reboot, among others. He reports to president of worldwide digital marketing Dwight Caines.

Caines’ team of direct reports includes digital marketers Elias Plishner and Michael Fisk, who run the media and international digital efforts, respectively.

Zim joined Twentieth Century Fox as vp of digital marketing in 2009 and led the digital marketing strategy for Avatar, including the record-breaking launch of the trailer on Apple Trailers, which received over 4m streams in 24 hours.

He began his tenure at Fox in 2006 as vp of online marketing for Fox Atomic and during that time was recruited to join the Fox team that partnered with NBC to launch Hulu.

Zim began his career in digital media marketing at Lionsgate, overseeing the digital campaigns for such titles as CrashSaw IIHostel and Madea’s Family Reunion.
