Veteran journalist adds coverage of Denmark to his beat.

Screen International has confirmed Danish journalist Jørn Rossing Jensen as its Nordic correspondent, after he has now added the coverage of Denmark to his beat. Since 2006 he has reported on the film industries in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland for Screen International and ScreenDaily.

Former culture editor of a leading newspaper and head of information & programming at the Concert Hall Aarhus, Rossing started as a freelancer for Screen in 1974. Between 1990-2004 he was senior editor, Scandinavian and East European bureau chief for Moving Pictures International, also writing for Variety from 1999-2004. He edited the Nordisk Film & TV Fond’s weekly news from 1999-2007.

Rossing has received the Order of the Finnish Lion from the Finnish President and the Singing Faun award from the City of Haugesund, home of the Norwegian International Film Festival.

“Covering a corner of the world with the opportunity of interviewing Bergman, von Trier and Kaurismaki, rarely gives you a dull moment,” Jensen said.
