Canadian distribution veteran Karynn Austin has left TVA Films to join Equinoxe Films as director of distribution and marketing. Based in the company's Toronto office, she will oversee all aspects of marketing Equinoxe's theatrical and home entertainment releases in English Canada. Austin has 20 years experience in the business including stints in production, distribution and marketing of theatrical and home entertainment at C/FP Distribution, Malofilm and most recently at TVA.

'I'm excited to be working with the talented Michael Mosca and Marie Claude Poulin,' said Austin in a statement. 'We have a strong release schedule and I'm looking forward to the challenge of making our films stand out in the marketplace.'
