Alan Arkin, Monica Bellucci, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Keanu Reeves have joined the cast of Rebecca Miller's drama The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee.

Robin Wright Penn stars as the title character, a serene New York-based mother and wife whose former wild life rears its head after her elderly husband embarks on an affair with a younger woman.

London-based Lumina Films is handling worldwide sales here and serves as executive producer. CAA is co-representing North American rights.

Principal photography is set to begin in Connecticut in April on the Elevation Filmworks and Plan B Entertainment project, which also stars Julianne Moore and Winona Ryder.

Jean-Luc De Fanti and Winchester Capital Partners are on board to finance and serve as executive producers.

This will be Elevation founder Lemore Syvan's fourth collaboration with Miller following The Ballad Of Jack And Rose, Personal Velocity and Angela.

Lumina's slate includes the Donkey Punch, White Lightnin': The Jesco White Murders, Maldeamores, the documentary Heavy Metal In Baghdad and the upcoming Rainey The Assassin.
