Agreement has been reached internally within the KirchGroup on the executives who will sit on the management board of the new company created from the merger of ProSiebenSAT.1 Media AG and KirchMedia by mid 2002, according to the business news service vwd.

While Dieter Hahn is already designated as the CEO of the merged entity, it is envisaged that the CFO position will be taken by Brian Cook while Kirch Holding managing director Klaus Piette will serve as COO. Piette will also have responsibility for personnel, auditing and legal affairs as well as technical services.

According to KirchGroup spokesman Hartmut Schulz, the management board will consist of six people who will also include the present CEO of ProSiebenSAT.1 Media Urs Rohner (Free TV), and Kirch Media's Fred Kogel (Fiction) and Alexander Liegel (Sport).
