Madrid-based international sales agent Kevin Williams Associates (KWA) has picked up two new Spanish films, The End Of The Night and Red Sunset, both of which are showing to buyers this weekend at the Spanish Film Screenings of Lanzarote (Nov 27-29).

Now in its fifth edition, the three-day Screenings kicked off Wednesday night on the Canary Island of Lanzarote with some 71 buyers from 29 countries attending. More than 30 recent Spanish films and co-productions are screening, while close to 100 titles are available on video.

With Patxi Barco's The End Of The Night (El Final De La Noche) and Edgardo Cozarinsky's Red Sunset (Crepusculo Rojo), both of which screened at September's Donostia-San Sebastian International Film Festival, plus another recent addition - Malaga Film Festival favourite Life Marks (La Vida Mancha) - KWA's Lanzarote slate is now eight films strong.

Other titles being screened by KWA at Lanzarote include one of the event's three gala premieres, Astronauts (Astronautas), Oliver Stone's Comandante, Achero Manas' November (Noviembre), The Weakness Of The Bolshevik (La Flaqueza Del Bolchevique) and Paz Vega-starrer Carmen.
