Lakeshore Entertainment chairman and chief executive officer Tom Rosenberg and president of worldwide marketing and distribution David Dinerstein have announced wide-ranging changes at the Los Angeles-based production, financing and sales company.

Former Arclight Films president of international sales and Morgan Creek International vice president Jonathan Deckter arrives as senior vice president of international sales and will work alongside eight-year Lakeshore veteran Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard Rose, who is promoted to the same position.

Both will oversee worldwide sales on Lakeshore's growing slate of productions and acquisitions, and its library of more than 600 titles. They report to Dinerstein, a relatively recent arrival himself who joined the company in January.

Meanwhile longtime Lakeshore marketing executive Rob Burke has been promoted to executive vice president of worldwide marketing, and Virginia Longmuir has been promoted to executive vice president of international business and legal affairs.

Burke will continue to strategise and oversee creative campaigns and work closely with the international distributors. He will also now work with Dinerstein on domestic marketing campaigns for Lakeshore titles.

Lakeshore Entertainment currently has domestic output agreements with Warner Bros and MGM and has recently distributed its features through Sony's Screen Gems and Lionsgate.

Longmuir will continue to negotiate and execute international distribution agreements while taking on additional operational and administrative duties.

'This is a pivotal time in Lakeshore's development as a company,' Rosenberg said. 'With eight features currently in various stages of production, 2007 is our most prolific year to date and we have an incredibly strong sales and marketing team under David going in to Cannes 2007.'

'We are delighted that Jonathan, one of the industry's top international films sales executives, has joined Lakeshore,' Dinerstein said. 'His global relationships are first-class and with Elizabeth's international experience and proven talents, and Virginia's vision and business acumen, we have an outstanding distribution team.

'With our current production slate, and distribution agreements, and the increase of day and date releases, the importance of worldwide marketing has never been more vital, and Rob Burke's industry experience and creative talents are integral to the continued global success of Lakeshore titles.'

Lakeshore's Cannes sales slate includes Isabel Coixet's untitled Philip Roth adaptation starring Penelope Cruz, Ben Kingsley, Patricia Clarkson, Peter Sarsgaard, Dennis Hopper and Deborah Harry, and the horror tale Pathology with Milo Ventimiglia and Lauren Lee Smith from the Crank creative team of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. German commercials director Marc Schoelermann makes his feature directorial debut. A third new title is expected to be announced within the week.

Lakeshore's current production slate includes Feast Of Love, Untraceable, and The Midnight Meat Train.
