Laura Ivey has beenappointed vice president of business and legal affairs at the LA-based filmproduction and financing company, Infinity International Entertainment. Iveywill be responsible for negotiating and structuring licensing and productionsdeals with domestic and international parties for all Infinity productions andall productions by Cinerenta, Germany's largest film fund, which are supervisedby Infinity. Other duties include negotiating contracts with talent and othergeneral corporate and legal matters. Ivey will be based at the corporateheadquarters in Los Angeles, where she will report directly to CEO MichaelOhoven.

'Laura brings veryrelevant experience to this role and strengthens the team in business and legalaffairs,' Ohoven said in a statement. 'Her understanding of thecurrent marketplace will prove invaluable when negotiating the best possibledeals for our new productions. Laura will be a terrific complement to theexisting management team of Bill Vince [president], Joe Hobel [chief operatingofficer and head of production] and Andrew Mann [chief financial officer].'

Ivey arrives from First LookMedia, where she was responsible for overseeing domestic and foreign licensingand acquisition agreements, project and corporate financings and productionlegal work.
