Klaus Härö’s Letters To Father scoops four prizes at Finland’s national film awards.

Klaus Härö’s Letters To Father Jacob (Postia Pappi Jakobille) scooped four prizes, including best feature and best director, at Finland’s Jussis Awards.

Produced by Risto Salomaa and Lasse Saarinen for Kinotar, the film’s star Heikki Nousiainen won best actor and it also picked up the award for best musical score.

Aleksi Mäkelä’s thriller Hellsinki (Rööperi) also won four statuettes, best supporting actor for Peter Franzen and the audience prize.

Veteran actor-director Lasse Pöysti, who has appeared in 120 Finnish films, was honoured with a Life Achievement Award.
